Share your experiences to help us protect the public. Your feedback, positive or negative, helps us assess how well regulators and Accredited Registers protect the public and maintain standards.
We want to know about your experiences with health and social care regulators and Accredited Registers. Your feedback helps us understand how well they're protecting the public.
An important step in deciding whether to accredit a new register is to ask people to share their views on the register.
Every year, we also check how well the registers who have our accreditation as well as the regulators we oversee are doing their job. We look at different types of information, including what you tell us. Your stories - good or bad - help us see the full picture.
When you share your experience:
- you're helping make health and care regulation better
- the information is used to identify what's working well and what needs to change
- the regulators and Accredited Registers can use this information to improve how they work.
We publish an annual performance or assessment report about each organisation we oversee. If you share information with us, we can send you a copy of that report if you ask us. We might not mention your specific story in the report, but we take it into account. This is the way in which your story helps, we do not have the power to intervene in individual complaints made to regulators and Accredited Registers.
We understand that describing your own, or a loved one’s health or social care experience can be an emotional process, so all information shared will be treated respectfully and in confidence.

All the regulators and Accredited Registers we oversee are listed on the form. If the organisation you want to share your experience about is not on the list, we will not be able to use this information.
Please note that this is not a complaints process. We are not able to investigate complaints about individual health and social care practitioners. Complaints about the regulators or Accredited Registers should be raised with the Register or regulator directly as resolving individual complaints is outside of our powers.
