The Authority's response to the General Medical Council’s consultation: Reforming our fitness to practise investigation and adjudication processes.
Background
We responded to the General Medical Council’s consultation: Reforming our fitness to practise investigation and adjudication processes in May 2015.
We welcome the opportunity to respond to this consultation. As we have observed on a number of occasions recently, we found that the documents published for this consultation did not provide sufficient information. Some of the proposals are both significant and complex, and would have benefited from more detailed explanations and clearer cross references to the legislation.
