Update on PSA's presence on X

We have reviewed the social media channels we use and the information we share on them. Our overall aim in using these channels is to raise awareness of our activities and to engage positively with people interested in our work. 

The PSA works to protect the public and we believe diverse and inclusive environments are important to this goal. We have been concerned at the increase in discriminatory behaviour displayed on X, which does not align with our values. We believe that we can engage with people more effectively using other channels. 

From now on, we'll only use our X channel to share ways for people to give us feedback on our work, and to let people know key decisions about the performance of the regulators and Accredited Registers we oversee. This will allow us to stay open to constructive input from everyone affected by what we do.

We will be monitoring the impact of this change as we keep our decision under review.
