The British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) is the Chartered Society for Worker Health Protection. It is host to the Faculty of Occupational Hygiene, the professional standards body for occupational hygienists. Occupational hygienists are specialists deemed competent to ensure protection of people from all forms of occupational disease, in line with Regulation 7 of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations. The Register of Occupational Hygiene Professionals will be launched in the New Year

We completed our condition review of BOHS in August 2024. We found that the one Condition we issued at its initial accreditation in December 2023 has been met, and as a result all Standards continue to be met. Accordingly, accreditation is fully confirmed with no outstanding conditions.
