We have made it easier for you to find health and care practitioners by giving you access to all the registers here. You can now use our website to check the registration of health or care practitioners in many different occupations. Just press the buttons below.
Some practitioners like your GP and any other doctors, nurses, pharmacists or social workers you see are all ‘regulated’. This means they must be on a certain register by law. For example, the General Medical Council registers doctors. Other health and care practitioners choose to join an accredited register, even though they do not have to, to show their commitment to giving you good care.
