Prioritising section 60 order proposals

Background

This report provides the Department of Health with recommendations on a new Section 60 order to introduce changes to the regulators’ legislation. We asked regulatory bodies to score the importance of the proposed changes against criteria of (a) improving public protection and (b) implementing the 2007 White Paper reforms. The report identifies themes in the legislative changes that were proposed, as a way of prioritising and categorising the wide range of changes suggested.
