Around 170 delegates and speakers came together at Coin Street Community Centre on London's South Bank to listen to presentations from (amongst others) researchers, regulators, policy-makers, professionals and academics on:

  • Artificial Intelligence and regulation
  • Sexual misconduct and regulation
  • How regulators should respond to the workforce crisis
  • Understanding inequalities
  • Supporting registrants through crisis
  • Engaging the public in regulatory policy
  • Registration, retention and migration
  • New approaches to accountability and risk

The topic of conversation

The day started with a full plenary where we discussed  artificial intelligence and regulation. We then split into parallel sessions for the rest of the morning and afternoon. We came back to together to hear about a project on self-governance of healthcare professionals in Ukraine before PSA Chief Executive Alan Clamp and Professor Gerry McGivern of King's College Business School wrapped the day up with some closing thoughts.
